Project summary
Construction Longer was given the mandate to carry out the entire construction and interior finishes of the RécréOFUN amusement center in Sherbrooke, the first of its kind in the Eastern Townships.
The interior layout included the design and construction of numerous carpentry elements, highlighting the expertise and craftsmanship of our teams. Although the play modules were not included in the contract, they were installed in parallel with our work, requiring rigorous communication and coordination between the teams.

Challenge #1
The biggest challenge was to coordinate our work stages while simultaneously managing the parallel installation of the modules. We both had to store and handle a lot of materials in a small space. Thanks to good communication, efficient coordination and constant reorganization of priorities, we were able to complete the project successfully.
Challenge #2
Another challenge was to work together to create a layout based on existing ideas, in harmony with the other RécréOFUN centers, while integrating new concepts. To overcome this challenge, we found high-quality and sustainable solutions to the concepts imagined by the designers. We also took into account the intended use of the development such as large crowds of children, ensuring that materials and structures were appropriate and safe.
