Challenge #1
Given the age of the building, rigorous work had to be carried out during the demolition to find upstream solutions for working and maintaining the premises with adequate air quality.
Challenge #2
A major challenge for us was to work as closely as possible to the ancestral image and materials of the brick and wood perimeter walls, and the small batten ceilings. The foreman carried out countless searches to find the same materials, and when this wasn’t possible, he made the parts himself to maintain a similar aesthetic.
