Cuisine Idéale
Project summary
Cuisine Idéale specializes in the manufacture of essential components for kitchens, closets and bathrooms, such as cabinets, countertops and backsplashes. The project entrusted to us involved the construction of Cuisine Idéale’s new head office, comprising a 100,000 sq. ft. factory equipped with state-of-the-art technology, as well as three floors of offices housing their entire team over 30,000 sq. ft.
The building includes conference rooms, training rooms, attractive glass offices, a rooftop terrace and a gymnasium, all for the enjoyment of employees. It also includes a bright cafeteria with access to an outdoor terrace. The project incorporates principles of heat recovery from equipment to redistribute it throughout the plant, thus saving energy on heating.

Challenge #1
The project schedule was drawn up with the customer’s top priority in mind: integrating the production equipment into the plant, connecting, adjusting and commissioning it, and gradually starting up production. Thus, completing the project in the shortest possible time was not the main objective. Nevertheless, we succeeded in meeting the customer’s needs and expectations, while minimizing the impact on the overall construction time.
Challenge #2
The project with Cuisine Idéale required the commitment of all stakeholders to achieve excellence, reflect the brand and match the quality of their offering. To achieve this, the value of each investment was maximized to reconcile the terms of the contract with the high quality of the finished product. Ongoing collaboration between the customer’s in-house designers, the professionals responsible for the project and the construction managers from the various disciplines resulted in a work of art that lived up to expectations.
