Challenge #1
Given the use of the premises, confidentiality was an important issue. Particular attention was therefore paid to the composition of the various elements, such as window glazing, door hardware and partitioning. Sound-absorbing elements were also integrated into the design of the premises.
Challenge #2
As the floor was shared with another room, natural light was available on two sides. Therefore, strategies were put in place to ensure maximum brightness for all offices and workspaces. For example, large bay windows were installed at the front of the perimeter offices. The central offices, on the other hand, were built like boxes to allow light to flow through and over them.
