The challenge
One of the project’s many challenges was the construction of a curved, variable-width concrete deck over 300m long. To achieve this, we had to plan and coordinate the engineering as well as the fabrication of the formwork for each of the deck bays in different ways. All formwork supports were prefabricated to suit their location on the deck.
