Challenge #1
One of the challenges was to anticipate the excavation and backfill work as early as the end of February, to allow formwork to start in March.
To overcome this challenge, we set up a project schedule. This schedule was animated and updated weekly in partnership with subcontractors, according to the physical progress of the project. This approach enabled us to effectively coordinate the various stages and ensure that deadlines were met. Thanks to upstream planning, we were able to avoid any co-activity.
Challenge #2
Another challenge was to coordinate the delivery of the warehouse and plant under tight deadlines, while anticipating the need for electricity and landscaping to enable delivery and handling of these elements.
To overcome this challenge, we anticipated the provision of electricity and drew up a schedule incorporating these issues. This ensured the racks to be delivered and the paint cabins to be installed as planned.
